THCI works closely with GME directors and residency program directors to prepare
physicians to practice medicine in a rapidly changing health care environment. We do this
by providing faculty development programs on how to teach the knowledge and skills that lead to
the new competencies; and on implementation and integration of THCI's educational resources to help
faculty teach and measure mastery of defined knowledge and skills around Systems-Based Practice and
Practice-Based Learning and Improvement.
