The CD-ROM establishes an introductory framework
for understanding the principles and practices of managed
care with emphasis on the changing role of the physician,
sharing financial risk, allocating budgeted resources and
improving quality. Development of the CD-ROM was supported
through a $1.27 million grant from the national Partnerships
for Quality Education Initiative, sponsored by The Pew Charitable
Trusts.
The four courses in the interactive CD-ROM include:

- New Dimensions of Quality
- Practicing Managed Care
