Curriculum Guide on Managing Care: A Systems-based Approach

THCI's Curriculum Guide on Managing Care: A Systems-based Approach is a resource for training new physicians. THCI developed the Guide to help program directors and affiliated faculty teach residents and medical students the tools and techniques used by physician practices, integrated delivery systems, and managed care organizations to provide high quality, cost-effective, patient-responsive care. The lesson plans and teaching materials relate particularly to the competencies of Systems-based Practice and Practice-based Learning and Improvement, two of the areas that are now required by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Version 1.2 of the Curriculum Guide with materials for 14 sessions is now available. A single copy of the Curriculum Guide costs $125, including standard delivery via US Mail. To order, please click here.

Each copy of the Curriculum Guide is for use within a single residency program or medical school department. If an ACGME sponsoring institution wants the Guide for all its residency programs, or a medical school wishes to use it throughout its departments, they may request a site license.
