Conference Objectives
 
•  Provide a context for diabetes management, highlighting trends in knowledge and practice
•  Explore ways of promoting clinically beneficial relationships with patients

•  Practice strategies to enhance communication and promote connection with patients
•  Consider advantages of new insulin analogues in diabetes therapy
•  Define empowerment and the role it plays in diabetes management

Accreditation Information  

THCI is pending approval for accreditation by the Commission for Case Manager Certification for 6.25 clock hours for Certified Case Managers.

THCI is pending approval for accreditation by the MA/RI Leagues for Nursing for 7.5 Contact Hours as nursing continuing education credit for Registered Nurses. This program meets the continuing education requirements as outlined in the MA Board of Registry for Nursing (CMR 244 - 5.00)
