Submission Format Requirements--Panel Presentations

Panel proposals should be submitted as follows:

(1) the four authors who will participate in the panel should each submit a proposal for an oral presentation, following the oral presentation submission instructions.

(2) the organizer should submit a one-page description of the panel and issue(s) that will be examined, with a focus on how the four talks are related and why they should be presented together. The description should be formatted as follows:

Size: One page (8.5 x 11 inch paper size) with one inch margins left, right, top, and bottom.

Panel Title: 14 point Times Roman typeface, single column, bold, centered, upper and lower case using initial capitals for each word in the title other than articles and prepositions.

Organizer name: Organizer name, credentials, institutions, and locations should be below the title, in 12 point Times Roman typeface, single-column, bold, centered, upper and lower case using appropriate capitals. Institutions should also be in italics.

Abstract Body: single-spaced in 10 point Times Roman typeface, justified, two-column format with 0.5 inch between columns.

The abstract body should be structured as follows:

  • Objective of the panel

  • Moderator name: the moderator may or may not be one of the authors in the panel

  • Author names and titles of presentations comprising panel

  • Panel Description: description of the panel and issue(s) that will be examined, with a focus on how the four talks are related and why they should be presented together

  • Statement of Participation: statement by the panel organizer that all participants have agreed to take part on the panel
